The Liebester Award...Take Two

Thank you to Calamity Rene...or actually, I should say, Emily McConnell of The Imaginary World of Emily McConnell (and the real one too). My blog must be popular...or maybe it's just "what goes around, comes around"... well anyways, here's the rules, and I hope you enjoy reading my post! :)

The rules:
1. Link back to the blogger that nominated you
2. Answer the 11 new questions
3. Nominate other bloggers (however many or few as you'd like)
4. Create 11 new questions
5. Notify the new nominees of their award

1: You have one day to live. What are you going to do that day?
Say goodbye to all my friends and family, pray, make a will, and prepare myself for going to see Jesus!

2: You discover that you accidently brought all of your book characters from a book you’ve written/all the characters from your favorite book you’ve read, to life. Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
I'd love to have that happen! Granted, the bad guys would make life interesting...but hey, when you write/read a book, the good guys always win anyways right, so what's the worry, right? :P So, the answer to the question is yes, it would be a good thing. :)

3: Cherries or peaches?
Cherries. Without any hesitation.

4:If Jesus came back tonight, would you be ready for Him?
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!

5: What is your favorite Christian non-fiction book (besides the Bible)?
Probably a tie between "The Hiding Place" and "If I Perish". Both wonderful reads, although sad in parts...

6: Biographies or instruction books?
Biographies. Hands down. Actually, I take part of that back. If it's an instruction book on how to care/buy/own a horse, I enjoy those too. :)

7: If given the chance, who is the one Bible character (besides Jesus) you’d want to meet?
Hoo boy, that's a tough question. Probably it's a tie between any of the disciples and/or Paul.

8: You’re walking down the road and see a child being bullied. What do you do?
Pray to God and ask Him to give me courage to face the bully down.

9: If given the chance, who is the one fictional character (your books or books you’ve read) that you’d want to meet?
Probably any of the character's I made up that are myself in the books, or my various "heroes" of my stories. None of the bad guys though, they give me the shivers. Do the animals count as characters? Because, in that case, I'd definitely want to meet my "dream horse" Lightning.

10: You’ve been asked to perform a song/instrument at a huge arena with four thousand people attending. Would you go or would you hide?
I would. With fear and trembling I'm sure, but I'd hate to disappoint them all by hiding! ;P Hopefully I would have an awesome piece prepared that would stun and amaze them all. ;)

11: Without warning, you’re thrown back in time to a different era, where Christians are being persecuted. Would you try to find a way back home, help them first and then try to find a way home, or accept your fate and decide to live among them and help them?
Help them first, then get back home. :)

Here's my 11 questions that I came up with!:

1: Who is the most influential person in your life? (Outside of family: parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.)
2: What's your favorite animal?
3: What is your favorite mythical creature?
4: Who is your favorite Bible character? (Other than Jesus)
5: What is your favorite ice cream flavor?
6: Which school subject is/was your favorite?
7: Which school subject is/was a challenge for you?
8: Have you written a book? If so, what was it about?
9: Which time period is your favorite to study?
10: If you did get a job, what would it be?
11: If you were stuck on a mountain for a night, but knew that help was coming the next day, what would you do first?

And last, but not least, here are who I chose to nominate:

Rebekah of Rebekah's Reading Room
Madison of Once Lost, Now Found
Sarah & Margaret Eddy of Where Are You Reading?
Bethany of Bethany's Blog
Jesseca of Whimsical Writings/A Kansas Wind
Andrew Eddy of Sola Scriptura
Carl Gray of Carl Gray's Journal

That was all I could come up with...oh well.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post! Hopefully I'll be back with another one soon! ;)

  1. The Hiding Place is one of my favorite books! Heartbreaking but still wonderful.

Good for you for being willing to performing in front of a large crowd! I'd run and hide even if it was only ten people I knew! :)

    1. Ha, ha. Yes, I don't blame you... ;P Actually, It's easier for me to preform to lots of people I don't know than a few that I do...maybe I'm just weird that way... :)
