The Princess and I: PHOTO SHOOT

It started out as a normal work day at the secretary office...phone calls, emails, and printing out bulletins. (Which was LESS of a headache this week...but still managed to be a pain nonetheless. It took only two tries to get the right bulletin printed this time...unlike the three times it took me last time. Ok, ok, I'm getting waaaaaay ahead of myself here.) *cough*
Anyways, after the morning passed and I had lunch...an idea dawned on me. With the rare, sunny day (though it was still windy) I decided to do the postponed photo shoot with my book. I had planned to do one as part of my blog tour...but instead it snowed. So, yeah. No such luck.
BUT TODAY I did it. I went outside after working hours and took some pictures of my two very willing (I seriously typed out 'William' instead of 'willing' there first by accident. *face palm*) and compliant models: my beautiful book and the handsome weapon who served as the main inspiration for Safeguard (Megan's sword...for those of you who haven't read my book.)
Our church patio served as a perfect background for the photo shoot...though it was a little embarrassing how much moss is growing on the cement. (But, in our defense, our spring work party is THIS SATURDAY. So.) It ended up giving a very authentic look to the pictures though, I was very pleased with the results and I hope you are too! :D

The cover. <3 Yeah, this MIGHT be my favorite picture. ;)

The inside.

The copyright page. Yep, this is what appears in my book. Totally.

Not the best photographer by any stretch of the imagination...
but I did like how this one has the book blurred and the sword clear.

I love how you can really see the details on my friend Safeguard here. :)

This is what the back looks like guys. ^_^

The spine...

The lighting was a little weird on this one...but I love the overall feel of the cement. Totally castely, (yes I just made up that word) am I right?

If only I had tipped the book the OTHER way...#regrets

This picture made Safeguard look short...

So, as all guys would, he demanded a better picture of him.
*rolls eyes*

This ties as my other favorite (along with the first one) picture. :)
Don't these two make the perfect couple. <3 ;)

But I leave the final vote to you all. :P Which picture was YOUR favorite? Have a fabulous day!

    1. I only named him for the sake of the photo shoot. On our wall, he's the same as he ever was, I promise. ;) And yes, I know the tip guard comes off...but I wanted it left on. I thought it looked cool...so, yeah. *shrugs*
