Also, I apologize to you Canadians out there. It is true I don't celebrate Canada day...but I really do like you guys. Truly. Just wanted to make that clear after saying what I did in the video.
What did you think of my video? Was it how you pictured me acting in real life? Did my recorded voice sound as funky to you as it did to me? Do you want me to do this again? (Did you subscribe to my YouTube channel? ;P)
Hope y'all have a great day! See you in the next post! :D
That was fun, Rebekah. Nope, you didn't sound like what I imagined, but hey, I probably wouldn't sound like you imagined either. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love Christmas music too! I would probably sing Christmas songs more often, but my sister has pretty much declared no Christmas music before Thanksgiving. (Unless we have to practice something for church.) But that makes the music all the more special because I've had to wait.
Anyway, I enjoyed this post.
My voice on a recording sounds different than my real life voice, I promise. ;) Yay! I'm so glad you enjoyed this! :)
DeleteWow, you did great, Rebekah!! :D (I feel so awkward talking to cameras...I'll probably never do a vlog. :P) I loved the part about turkey – hahaha!! I don't if we've ever been given whole turkeys, but we always end up with plates of leftovers from church meals. ;)
ReplyDeleteChristmas music – YAASSS!
Didn't get to bed until 2? *pats head* I can mostly definitely relate. And Sundays are always exhausting.
Yes, well thankfully I'm a very photogenic person, so being myself I front of a camera is not hard for me. As long as I know what to say. ;)
DeleteOoooh yes the turkey. XD We always end up getting like five around Thanksgiving. I love our church body and everything...but sometimes they don't have a lot of imagination when it comes to bringing us food. Bless their hearts. :)
Whoohoo!! Another Christmas music lover!! *high five*
Aw, thank you for the encouragement. ^_^
Ahhhhhhh this was so great!!!!! You did wonderful, and I loved hearing your answers to the questions. Now that I've seen this, I'm positive I've seen you at Christian Heritage before. Too bad we didn't know about each other earlier this year! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in my challenge!
Aw, thank you!!! I had so much fun doing this, and I'm already looking forward to next time!!
DeleteSERIOUSLY??? Oh my word, we need to meet next year!!! Will you be there?? Our family goes every year, and my dad might even be speaking again. Do you do chorale?
Yeah--we've been 7 or 8 years now. :) I don't know about next year...haven't thought that far ahead yet. ;-) But yes, we must meet next time! I've done chorale in the past, both soprano and alto. What do you do?
DeleteDo you sell your book(s) there? I'd love to get a signed copy. ;)
DeleteI did soprano last year, and if I do it again, I'll probably sing soprano again since that's what I usually sing in our church choir and one of my best friends sings soprano with me. :)
Actually, I'm seriously thinking about asking if I can do a session about writing/publishing. *bites nails* So to answer your question, I probably will have a booth (if we go) next year. :)
DeleteIf I told you my real name you *might* recognize it. (Maybe. It's a weird one.) My parents did a session a few years ago on adoption. :) (I know Jesseca Wheaton and Emily McConnell. They tell me that they can't believe we haven't "met" before now. :-) )
Funnily enough, my dad is on the speaker's committee, so you came to the right person. ;) Do you want to email your info to me and I can forward it to dad?
DeleteOh, maybe so. Your face does look vaguely familiar...so it's possible. :)
Haha, that's great! :) Actually, I was just going to email the Craigs, but if there is someone else I should contact then yes, absolutely, I will email my info to you. :)
DeleteI really enjoyed watching your vlog, Rebekah! :D It was so much fun!! =)
ReplyDeleteYay!! I had fun watching the video you posted on your blog too. You and your family did a good job filming it! :)
DeleteThank you! =) I'm glad you enjoyed it.
DeleteHold it hold it hold it. WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY? *crosses arms* *glares* xD To be fair, I don't really count Fourth of July as a holiday...so I guess we're square then ;) (btw, thank you for not saying CaNAHda; seriously I think you're one of a few Americans that I've ever heard pronounce Canada right :P)
ReplyDeleteLOVED your vlog, Rebekah and look forward to future ones! :D
*sheepish smile* Well then. There you have it! ;)
DeleteReally? All the Americans I've ever met pronounce it the way I do...weird. Maybe it's a Washintonian thing.
Thank you! ^_^
